Chapter 6 – Rain.

It was almost eleven o’clock at night in Sao Paulo, a humid and particularly cold night. It was raining when the strange man and Mike Brown left the aeroport towards their unknown destination.

First they had to eat. The car they got into took them to a restaurant in the centre of town.

“The food here is delicious, Mr Brown”, they said.

While they ate, Mike observed the storm growing in strength. He also began feeling uncomfortable, the strange man waiting for him at the aeroport still hadn’t introduced himself. Did they know each other?

They ordered a bottle of wine; Mike loves wine. The food was flavoured very strongly, he had to keep taking sips of wine to put up with the taste. He must have had three glasses by the end of the evening.

When the mysterious man paid the bill, he was a little drunk but aware enough to have interesting perceptions about his destination.

The rain was still pouring down when they left the restaurant.
