It’s never too late to learn, and this group of silver surfers is living proof. They gathered at a New York library to break into the space now predominantly occupied by the young – Facebook. For many of the students, Facebook offers new opportunities to stay in touch with family and friends. Seventy-six-year-old Rosalind Licht already knows exactly who she wants to friend, and who not. According to Pew Research Center over half of senior US citizens are online – and is a growing demographic. So it’s not long before timelines will include grandmothers and grandfathers as members of the family.
