Hi everyone!
Today we’d like to introduce a new teacher at ABA English: Nikki.
To find out more, read the fun interview below. Nikki answered some questions so we could all get to know her better.
Where are you from?
The outskirts of London.
Outskirts – the parts of a city or town that are far from the center.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
In my free time I love spending time with my friends and family, travelling and going to the gym, salsa classes, to the cinema and shopping. I also love learning languages: at university I studied French and Spanish, and also learnt a bit of Catalan.
How long have you been teaching English?
I have been teaching English in Barcelona for nearly four years.
What country would you like to visit and why?
I would love to go on a Caribbean cruise to visit all the beautiful, tropical islands. I would love to eat delicious tropical fruit straight off the tree.
What’s your favourite food?
I love pizza and pasta!
If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be?
I would love to be invisible so I could listen in on other people’s conversations!

How can I get 550 in the toefl test ?
Hello Mohamed!
A TOEFL score of 550 is a 6 on the IELTS system, which is an internationnal standardised test of English proficiency by the University of Cambridge.
To pass any exam you will need to study and make sure you understand what skills you will need to pass. To practice writing and comprehension, the following website offers essays for level 6 (or TOEFL 550).
