Hello everyone!
The story we are going to listen to today is about a zebra. He has fleas (small insects that bite animals) and does not know what to do.

Vocabulary
Savanna – a large flat area of land with grass and very few trees especially in Africa and South America.
Eagerly – very excited and interested.
To quench your thirst – To drink, to stop you feeling thirsty.
Itchy – feeling or having an itch that makes you want to scratch.
Fleas – a very small insect that lives on animals and that has strong legs used for jumping.
To get rid of – to do something so that you no longer have or are affected or bothered by it.
Swishing – to move with or cause (something) to move with a soft sweeping or brushing sound.
Thumping – to hit or beat something or someone and make a loud, deep sound.
Licking – to pass the tongue over (a surface, an object, etc.).
Perched – to sit on or be on something high or on something from which it is easy to fall.
Winked – an act of closing and opening one eye very quickly often as a way of giving a secret signal or private message to someone.
Darted – to run or move quickly or suddenly in a particular direction or to a particular place.
Sheepish – showing or feeling embarrassment especially because you have done something foolish or wrong.
Tempting – causing an urge or desire to have or do something.
Groaned – to make a deep sound because of pain or some strong emotion.
To eat their fill – If you have had your fill of something, you do not want to do or have any more of it.
Symbiosis – the relationship between two different kinds of living things that live together and depend on each other.
