Lyrics
Let me go
I don’t wanna be your hero
I don’t wanna be a big man
Just wanna fight with everyone else
Your masquerade
I don’t wanna be a part of your parade
Everyone deserves a chance to
Walk with everyone else
While holding down
A job to keep my girl around
And maybe buy me some new strings
And her a night out on the weekend
And we can whisper things
Secrets from our American dreams
Baby needs some protection
But I’m a kid like everyone else
So let me go
I don’t wanna be your hero
I don’t wanna be a big man
I Just wanna fight like everyone else
Oh
So let me go
I don’t wanna be your hero
I don’t wanna be a big man
I Just wanna fight with everyone else
Your masquerade
I don’t wanna be a part of your parade
Everyone deserves a chance to
Walk with everyone else

It’s a great song, I like it a lot. I already got this song for my iPod. However, I don’t think BOYHOOD is a great picture for winning an Oscar. I mean, it’s a nice story, but it’s too long and it’s not original in its topic, there’s a lot of sitcoms speaking about that topic a lot better than BOYHOOD (for example, the children and the kids in MAD MEN, GILMORE GIRLS, FULL HOUSE, etc.). I think BIRDMAN was the best picture of 2014, I hope this movie wins the main Oscar.
Thanks for all the songs in your blog, they help me practicing my English.
Greetings from Mexico!
