Hello you!
You know those days when you have to study but you really don’t want to? You want to watch TV or chat with friends, but you know you should practice some English?
This quote helps in those moments: “Whatever is good to know is difficult to learn”. Knowledge comes at a price: we have to force ourselves sometimes to do the work. But that’s great news! Why? Because once you have learnt something new, you have something super special that nobody can take away.
And what’s better than feeling proud of having learnt a new language? Nothing!
Do you have a favourite inspirational quote? Let us know!
Yes, it is absolutely right…. knowledge is a progressive trip, that we must follow step by step. Nothing can arrive to us without efforts and we often lose what we’ve just achieved and only a daily revision can increase our level of knowledge…obviously if we are interested in chatting with friends or watching TV our mind is on another plan of thoughts and it’s impossible to concentrate on our goals… Anyway I agree on feeling proud of having learnt a new language: I have finished the whole ABA course in 6 months with ‘excellent’ grades in all the levels…. but I fell still a beginner and want to go on studying 2-3 hours every day…I’m sorry for TV or Chatting Friends……
Hi Roberto!
Awesome job! Yes, learning is a continuous process. We can never stop learning. And of course, when we’re learning a language, it’s important to practice because otherwise we might forget.
