  • The origin of the word “coconut” probably goes back to the 16th century, when Portuguese sailors observed how similar it is to a human head.
  • The strawberry is the only fruit that has seeds on the outside, which it can have up to 200 of.

  • Apples float on water because they’re 25% air. You could say that it’s an “inflated” fruit.
