Lenny Kravitz, kariyeri boyunca Miles Davis, The Beatles, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix gibi birçok müzisyenden etkilenmiş çok yönlü bir sanatçıdır. Kendisi gitar, elektro bas gitar, davul, piyano, mızıka ve sitar çalan yetenekli bir müzisyendir.

Lise eğitimine devam edebilmek için balık pazarında çalışan Kravitz’in müzik tutkusu o zamanlardan başlar. 1964’te Ukrayna asıllı Musevi bir baba ve Bahama asıllı bir anneden doğan Lenny, California’da büyür. O zamandan bu yana, bu Amerikalı çocuk epey yol kat eder. Başarılı kariyeri ilk albümü Let Love Rule’u 1989’da kaydettikten sonra başlar.

Kravitz 11 Mayıs 2018’de, Raise Vibration adlı 11’inci albümünün 7 Eylül’de çıkacağını duyurur. Aynı gün, albümün ilk single’ı “It’s Enough”, ardından 25 Mayıs’ta da ikinci single “Low” çıkar.
