ABA Film Teaser – Unit 29 – The Sales

A lot of you ask us about the ABA Films, so we like to share the content of some units and then you can see what they are like!

Let us know in the comments’ section if your level is Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced or Business!

When you open your ABA English course, you will see that each unit begins with an ABA Film. This is a short story that will teach you new vocabulary and will serve as a basis for the rest of the unit. After watching the ABA Film, you will then be able to finish the unit and do the speaking, writing, grammar and vocabulary exercises.

For example: Unit 29 is about adverbs of quantity, like “a lot of” and “a few”. Do you remember how to use adverbs of quantity?

During the ABA Film of Unit 29, you will hear a dialogue using a lot of adverbs of quantity. This way, you can learn how to use them in a conversation with somebody.

“Excuse me, how much are the red shoes?”

“Look, she’s busy and there are only a few assistants here”

“Oh well. It says here that they are 10 pounds. 10 pounds is not much
