What is synchronicity?

Hello everyone!

Do you know what synchronicity is? It’s a word coined by Carl Jung, a Swiss psychologist, in the 1920’s.

It is the experience of two or more events related in a way we believe to be meaningful. What does this mean? Well, it means that two or more events seem related but cannot be explained.

For example:

“Alex was robbed last night and his TV was stolen. This morning his friend Jenny told her friends she had an old TV she wanted to give away. Synchronicity!”

“I needed to learn English to get a better job but didn’t have the time to go to classes. Then I heard of the ABA English course and signed up. Now I’m practicing every day on the journey to work. Synchronicity!”

Another beautiful way of describing synchronicity is the following:

“Synchronicity is the universe saying YES”. Isn’t that lovely?

We would love to hear of YOUR experiences with synchronous events. Tell us how the universe said yes to you!
